Zelma A. Barckhoff 82, of Plum Boro, formerly of Springdale, passed away Monday March 23, 2020. She was born in Harwick to her parents, the late James Richardson and Josephine Blair Bouch and has been a lifelong resident of the valley. Mrs. Barckhoff worked as a receptionist for Bell Telephone, Cellular One, Harmar Village and Health South where she eventually retired. She was of the Catholic faith enjoyed her friendship with her lady friends at card club, reading, cooking, as well as her position with the Springdale Alumni Association where she was a founding member. Surviving her are:

Diana O’Shaughnessy of Plum
Grandchildren RJ and Teri O’Shaughnessy and Ryan and Tara Connelly
Brother Clyde (Debbie)Richardson of Butler
Besides her parents, Zelma was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Summerville and one brother James Richardson.
Visitation, blessing services, live streaming and burial were held for her immediate family. A celebration of life announcement will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, Zelma would appreciate a donation to a charity that has touched your heart.
