Yolanda (Ciccarelli) Higgins

Yolanda (Ciccarelli) Higgins, 94, of Cheswick, passed away Thursday August 24, 2023.  She was born December 22, 1928, to her parents, the late Modesto and Cristina Franco Ciccarelli and has been a resident of our community for many years..  Mrs. Higgins worked as an administrative Assistant for The Ellis School for 20 years, from which she eventually retired.  She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale and enjoyed dancing, traveling, reading, and especially spending time with her family.  Surviving her are:

Son James (Melinda) Higgins of Pittsburgh

Daughter Cristina Ann Higgins of Fla.

Grandchildren Jennifer and Erin

Great-grandchildren Claire, Benjamin, and Molly

And her loving Nephew Dr. Richard (Davida) Ciccarelli of Cheswick

Besides her parents, she was also preceded by three brothers Louis, Anthony, and Armand Ciccarelli

.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday August 29, 2023 in Our Lady of Victory/Guardian Angel Parish Church with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation.
