William F. Tarpay

William F. Tarpay 69, of Apollo, Washington Township, passed away at home on Monday June 30, 2025.  He was born on March 26, 1956, to his late parents, Paul and Margaret Baksay Tarpay and has been a lifelong resident of the area.  Mr. Tarpay served in the U.S. Airforce and later worked as Maintenance personal at Redstone Health Care in Greensburg where he eventually retired.  He enjoyed farming, mowing the grass, going to airshows and especially his family.  Surviving him are:

Brother Frank Tarpay of Apollo

Niece Christen Canaan of New Kensington

Sister-in-Law Barbara (DeMarco) Tarpay of Apollo

Numerous loving nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, William was also preceded in death by two brothers Paul and Alex Tarpay and one sister Margaret Tarpay.

Friends will be received on Thursday July 3, 2025, from 11-1pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh.
