William "Bill" Scott Stresky Sr., 70, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021. He was born Oct. 19, 1950, the son of the late William and Doris (Sleppy) Stresky, and was a lifelong member of the community. Scott graduated from Springdale High School, class of 1968, worked for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Mill, Brackenridge, as a grinder for 47 years before retiring, and was a union member of USW Local No. 1196. He was a member of The Krivan Club and enjoyed shooting pool, watching classic movies, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Springdale Dynamos. Scott was a huge Rolling Stones fan but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving him are his loving wife of 45 years, Cynthia (Wilhelm) Stresky; son, William (Kelly) Scott Stresky II, of Springdale; daughter, Heidi (Chad) Cochran, of Springdale; daughter, Rayna (Ian) Abraham, of Lower Burrell; son, Justin (Amber Jackson) Stresky, of Verona; daughter, Amber (Jacob) Neiman, of Springdale; brother, Mark (Debbie) Stresky, of Springdale; and grandchildren, Christian and Shiloh Stresky, Logan Abraham, Hudson and River Neiman. He also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents; and brother, Jack Stresky. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Springdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Springdale Cemetery Association.
