William Orris

William (Bill) Orris, of Cheswick, formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Sunday Aug. 8, 2021. He was born April 18, 1942, to his late parents, William and Margaret Addison Orris. He graduated from Ken High School in 1960 and served in the Army in military intelligence from 1966 until his discharge in 1972. He then worked for Royston Laboratories in Blawnox for 30 years, where he retired. He was a good friend to many and enjoyed swimming, gardening and his beloved dogs, Adam and Joey. Survivors include his daughter, Leann (Jason) Attanucci, of McMurray; son, R. Dennis (Jennifer) Orris, of Gibsonia; and three grandsons, Luca, Logan and Rocco Attanucci. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristine Lynette Orris, in 1968. Friends are invited for his visitation from 10 until blessing services at 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, in The CHALES B.
