William R. Miller

WILLIAM ROBERT MILLER (Bill), 72, of Springdale, PA and formerly of Ellwood City, PA passed from this life into his eternal heavenly life on Thursday, November 8, 2024.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, August & Doris Miller, Maternal Grandparents Anthony & Fern Radich, Paternal Grandparent August Miller, his sister, Cheryl Miller Whitlatch, his niece Lori Nemeth Crouch.

Bill graduated from Riverside High School and went into the US Navy where he was honorably discharged. Bill retired from the postal service after 30 years of being a mail carrier. Recently, he was awarded a certificate and pin for his time of military service.  

Bill spent his afternoons playing Keno at the Trading Post with his friend Paul.

Bill will be forever remembered by those who loved him and are left to grieve his passing.  Jeannie Harmon, the love of his life, his sisters Dixie Nemeth (Art), Sandra Lowers (Owen), Nancy Baker (Joe), Lana Bridge (Chuck), Toni Price (Jim), and only brother, August (Buddy) Miller (Cheryl), the Harmon & Gent families who provided so much loving care during Bill’s cancer battle. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great nieces, nephews, and friends.  Another family member greatly missing him is his beloved dog, Gracie.

The family wishes to thank the visiting hospice nurse, his visiting nurse, his doctors at the Veterans Hospital, the chaplain, and all who faithfully were involved in his extensive care.

visitation will be held at the CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. Springdale on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM until services at 5:30 PM. officiated by Bill’s nephew, Rev. Steven Nemeth of Eldersburg, MD.
