William J. Dugan, 91, of New Kensington, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023. He was born Aug. 2, 1931, to his late parents, Hugh and Catherine Cushing Dugan, and had been a longtime resident of the valley. Bill worked for PAT Bus for 21 years, from where he eventually retired. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Lower Burrell and always enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as dancing and roller-skating and especially relished traveling with his late wife, Emma Jean. Surviving him are daughters, Karen (Dennis) Huy, of Ohio and Debbie (Tim) Tabacheck, of Cheswick; son, Bill (Christine) Dugan, of Latrobe; sister, Margaret Campbell, of Irwin; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Dugan was also preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Dugan in 2018; and one brother, Hugh Dugan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, in THE CHARLES B.
