William G. Devlin

William Gallagher "Bill" Devlin, 79, of Harmar Township, passed Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, in Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Kittanning. Bill was born Oct. 18, 1943, in New Kensington, son of late James P. and Pearl (Gallagher) Devlin. Mr. Devlin graduated from Springdale High School, Class of 1961. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam War. serving proudly on the U.S. Newport News (CA-148). He was employed at Norfolk Southern Railroad as a welder until his retirement. Bill and his wife are members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Springdale. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia Ann Wagle Devlin; two children, Lori and her husband, Todd Cavanaugh, of Harmar, and William "Bill" and his wife, Tiante Evans Devlin, of South Buffalo Township; two brothers, Michael Devlin and wife, Jean, of Glen Allen, Va., and James Devlin and wife, Susan, of Harmar; sister, Mary Eileen Miller and husband, Robert, of Springdale; five grandchildren, Justin (Paige) Devlin, Dr. Kasey Devlin, Logan Devlin, Sean Cavanaugh and Megan Cavanaugh (Devlin) Garred; and one great-grandchild, Rowan Devlin. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, in the CHARLES B.
