Veronica (Gasper) Hotkowski, 97, of Sarver, formerly of Indianola, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, in Concordia of Cabot. She was born June 23, 1924, to her parents, the late Michael, and Mary Rogozinski Gasper. Mrs. Hotkowski was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Mary's of Czestochowa in New Kensington for many years. She worked at the Parnasas A&P as a cashier and then The Aspinwall Veterans Administration, where she eventually retired. Ronnie was a devout board member of the West Deer Garden Club, where she would plant flowers around the community to make it a beautiful place to live. She also made dried silk arrangements for people and owned her own business called Flowers by Ronnie. More than anything, she loved her family and delighted in watching all the children grow, laugh and play. Surviving her are her son, Leonard C. Hotkowski, of Sarver; son, Ronald L. (Adina) Holland, of California; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Eli, Leonard, Alyse, Brian, Julie and Traci; and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hotkowski, in 2011; son, John Michael Hotkowski; six sisters; and four brothers. Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, in St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
