Velma C. Shaulis, 79, of Verona, unexpectedly passed away at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 2023, in the Platinum Ridge Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Cramer and Louella Mills; grandchildren, Lisa Mills, Rex Cramer II, Jonathan Cramer, Sam Mills and Jessica Cramer; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Mills, Alex Brekoben, Levi Mills, Liam Mills and Rowan George. She was preceded in death by her ex-husbands, Wilmer Mills Jr. and Dennis Myers; and son, Wilmer Mills III and Great-grandson Declan Cramer. She had a full life, born June 4, 1944, she worked as a CNA for 43 years. She enjoyed working the Alzheimer's Unit and night shifts. She loved BINGO and decorating for Christmas and Halloween and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew her and her fiery attitude and quick wit. Funeral services arranged by the CHARLES B.
