Sharlene Mae (Hixenbaugh) Mickelic

Sharlene Mae (Hixenbaugh)  Mickelic, 88, of Harwick, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  She was born Dec. 30, 1933, to her late parents, William, and Goldie Heilman Hixenbaugh and has been a lifelong member of the community. She graduated from Springdale High School and formerly belonged to Cheswick United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Mickelic enjoyed doing yard work and being outside and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family. Surviving her is her son, Robert Mickelic, of Harwick; daughter, Karen (Randy) Drapela, of West Deer; sister, Linda (Irvin) Snyder, of Cranberry. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Robert F. Mickelic, in 1991; and one sister, Janet Szalai. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale, PA.
