Sean M. Dugan

Sean M. Dugan, 58, lifelong resident of Springdale, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023. He was born Feb. 19, 1965, to his parents, the late James H. Dugan and his loving mother, Janice (Becquet) Dugan. Sean graduated from Springdale High School in 1983 and worked for Cemline Corp. in Harmar for the past 16 years. He was of the Catholic faith. Sean loved to sing, dance, and make people laugh, always making new friends wherever he went. He enjoyed spending time at "Doogley Moogley," his camp in Tionesta. He was a member of the Springdale Veterans' Association and Fryburg Sportsman's Club. Sean will be sadly and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by Gayle Murphy, his loving partner of 18 years; sister,:Deborah (Joseph) Kandziolka, of Indiana Township; sister, Catherine (Mark) Daldoss, of North Carolina; brother, Russell (Mary) Dugan, of Springdale; brother, Kevin (Lynda) Dugan, of Cheswick; nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Jason) Hall, Meagan (Brian) Roberts, Marissa Kandziolka, Katie Dugan (fiance Jake Bowser), Sarah Dugan, Jimmy Dugan, Kenny Dugan and Kelly Dugan; and great-nieces and –nephew, Brooke, Sophia and Charlotte Hall and Lincoln Roberts. Everyone is welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Our Lady of Victory Church/Guardian Angels Parish. A celebration of Sean's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. following the Mass in the Springdale Veterans' Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Sean's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
