Sandra “Sandy” Catherine Prindible (Taddy), 80, of Queen Creek, AZ, died Sunday, July 7, 2024, at home. She was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Altoona, PA, to the late Philip Joseph and Leona Trybus Taddy. A resident of Queen Creek for the past 4 years, she had resided previously in Cheswick, PA. Sandy was an LPN and formerly worked at Murray Manor Convalescent Home until an injury forced her to retire. She attended St. Juan San Diego Catholic Church in Chandler, AZ. Sandy loved to cross stitch. Her beautiful pictures were always special gifts to those she loved. She was an avid Pens and Steelers fan. Sandy and Jim loved their dogs. She loved cooking and baking for everyone. Sandy was a sister of faith and will always be remembered for her kindness and giving to others. Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, James V. Prindible III in 2016. Survivors are children, James “Jimmy” Prindible IV, of Millvale, Steve (Ronna Leah) Prindible, of Smicksburg, and Michelle (Erik) Kunkle, of Queen Creek, AZ; Grammie of Chad, Marissa, Liberty, Joshua and Ethan; Great-Grammie of Marshall and Sophie; and sister to Philip “PJ” (Rosie) Taddy of Altoona, Aniela “Niel” (Tom) Thomas, of Taylors, SC, the late Robert “Rob” Taddy, and Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., Cheswick. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am. on Monday, July 15, 2024, in Our Lady of Victory Church/Guardian Angel Parish Harwick, with entombment to follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
