Robert C. Murdock

Robert C. Murdock, 93, of Cheswick, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, in Rebecca Residence of Concordia. He was born July 29, 1928, in Springdale, to his parents, the late Theodore and Mary Seronka Murdock and he grew up in Springdale. Mr. Murdock worked at PPG Industries as a maintenance mechanic for 43 years, where he eventually retired. He enjoyed being "Mr. Fix-It" for his family, and he especially loved his grandchildren and their sports activities, never missing a chance to watch them. Surviving him are son, Robert (Kimberly) P. Murdock, of Leechburg; daughter, Bonnie Devine, of Cheswick; five grandchildren, Zachary(Beth), Mitchell and Taylor Murdock, Michael (Julie) and Timothy (Sarah) Devine; and two great-grandchildren, Claire and Mia. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his loving wife, Delores Moser Murdock; a brother, Theodore; and two sisters, Doris Harnish and Marietta Ringus. His services and interment will be private for his immediate family, and he will be laid to rest beside his wife in Deer Creek Cemetery.
