Richard E. "Dick" Wiwel, 90, of Springdale, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2022. Beloved husband of 66 years to Anna (Anderson) Wiwel; beloved father of Carol (Jim) Rossi, of Colorado, Richard Wiwel Jr., of Springdale, and Cathy (Walt) Lutynsky, of Gibsonia; beloved grandfather of Cortni (Wynter) Stieger, Joel (Jack) Rossi, Carly (Anthony) Balistreri, Bailey and Ryan Lutynsky; great-grandfather of Brayton, Brandyn, Bryson and Bella Stieger; beloved twin brother of the late Joseph Wiwel. He is survived by his brothers, Donald and Bernard Wiwel; and his sister, Pamela Wiwel. He served in the Army, stationed in Germany, during the Korean War. He had worked in the printing industry his entire life including Korea, guarding military trucks carrying printing presses. He was a master craftsman and loved every minute of his work. Due to working in the printing industry, alongside his dad and brothers, his love for his work may have had something to do with his love of family, and that poured into every aspect of his own family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, in THE CHARLES B.
