Richard E. Jaskey 82, of Cheswick, passed away Saturday November 29, 2025. Born on March 31, 1943, he was the son of the late Frank Jaskey Sr. and Mary Kowalkowski Jaskey. Richard was of the Catholic faith and was a member of The Guardian Angel Parish, formerly St. Alphonsus church in Springdale. Rich grew up in New Kensington and was a graduate of Ken High School. Mr. Jaskey served in The U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he worked for Westinghouse EMD and NFD Division where he met his loving wife who he called doll. Rich loved to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers as well as old movies and enjoyed golfing with his buddies.
Surviving him are:
Loving wife of 54 years Delores (Dolly) Jaskey
Together they raised one son, Jason (Amanda) Jaskey of Shaler.
As well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers Frank Jr. (Florence) Jaskey; Raymond (Sandra) Jaskey: and sisters Bertha Jaskey and Joan (Stanley) Wrona and one nephew Raymond Jaskey Jr. and one niece Kanen Dongiovanni.
Friends will be received on Wednesday December 3, 2025, from 9am until 11am in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St. where a blessing service will commence at 11am. Entombment will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
