Raymond L. Van Horn, 72, of Harwick, died Friday, May 13, 2022, in Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 29, 1949, in Aspinwall, to the late William W. and Hazel N. Long Van Horn. Mr. Van Horn served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a retired machinist. Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Elaine Kessler Van Horn; a sister, Diane (Harold) Leksell, of Holiday Park; a brother, William (Alberta) Van Horn, of Cheswick; also several nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Sona Scott; nephew, Mark Cunningham; and niece, Jamie Wilson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with full military honors to be held in St. Marys Sharpsburg Cemetery.
