Patricia J. (Burger) Yaworsky

Patricia (Patty) Burger Yaworsky, 73, died Monday March 9, 2026.  She was born May 23, 1952, to her late parents, Frank and Rachel (Dalcherone) Burger in New Kensington.  She lived all of her life in the Springdale and Cheswick areas.  She graduated from Springdale High School in 1970.  Patty spent most of her life taking care of others and her beloved pets who she considered her “Children”.

  For all of her difficulties, she always stayed true to who she was.  She will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind laugh.  She was generous and caring and a fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams and loved to attend the Pirates games with friends. 

  Besides her parents, Patty was also preceded in death by her sister Karen Burger, and her beloved companion Jim Young.

  She is survived by her sister Donna Burger O’Donnell, brother Frank (Karen Furyk) Burger, nephews, Brian and Brett Burger, nieces Erin (Dan) Alcorn, Rebecca (Kris) Choltco and Kerry O’Donnell (Jon Shogan), many cousins and her dear friend, Genny Augustine as well as many friends and co-workers.
