Patricia Joyce Schneider, 76, of Cheswick, left us Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, after her battle with cancer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Florence and Matthew Badali and Robert Lott. She is survived by her favorite daughter, Roxann (Jim) Tyger, of Indiana, ex-husband and all-around great guy, Bob Schneider, and dog, Bella. She was preceded in death by her son, R.J. Schneider, who was her shining star and hero. Her grandsons, Connor Tyger and Noah Schneider, were truly her biggest loves and favorite topics of conversation. She had wonderful siblings, including her sister, Laura Kusserow, and brother, Robert Lott, both of whom preceded her in death, and her surviving sisters, Jackie Sprague, of Apollo, and Roberta Berry, of Ohio. She was proud of and loved her numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was tiny but mighty - small in stature with an enormous heart and tremendous tenacity. Known by many as Aunt Joyce, she was a retiree from SCI Pittsburgh, where she worked with an amazing group of coworkers and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, the "clique", watching (and yelling at) the Steelers, baking and making her famous spaghetti sauce. She loved and appreciated her friend, Audra Phillips, who was not just a caretaker, but part of the family. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Deer Creek Cemetery in Cheswick, with her celebration of life to be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at The Syria Shrine, Harmar. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
