Michael M. Senge 66 of Creighton passed away May 9, 2026 in Harmar village. Mike was a former member and altar boy of Transfiguration Church in Russellton, PA. He was a 1977 graduate of Deer Lakes High School in Cheswick, PA. He attended Slippery Rock University in the fall of '77 and majored in Communications. He was an important and valued member of the stage crew for Slippery Rock's Drama Department. So many hours were spent in Miller Auditorium building and moving sets until everything was just right. Mike was one of the most popular students on campus, his outgoing and friendly persona made it easy to be his friend. Most of those friends kept in touch with Mike over the years and he attended so many reunions and visited "The Rock" whenever he could. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications in the summer of 1981. He went on to a successful career in the field of Marketing and Estimating/Purchasing in the Commercial Sign industry. Along the way he enjoyed several hobbies and activities. Such as fishing, tennis and golf. But Mike's biggest pastime was music. His favorite bands were Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Rolling Stones. He attended hundreds of concerts with his buddies and there was always a tune in his head. In the late '80's Mike was a faithful manager/statistician and grounds crew member for the West Deer Tri-County Men’s Baseball Team. He was at every game and supported each player no matter what. Mike traveled to the Outer Banks and spent many vacations with friends at Emerald Isle, North Carolina. He loved the sun, the beach and the camaraderie of his family and friends. He usually planned and took care of most of the details on these trips. Mike loved his Pittsburgh sports teams! Attending many games over the years and watching all the Championship seasons on TV, usually with a house full of friends and family. But his two favorite players of all time were Mario Lemieux and Roberto Clemente. Mike's buddy Mark wants everyone to know that he fought his butt off to beat this disease. He was and still is a winner and his spirit will live on forever! A celebration of Mike's life is being planned for a later date. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister Michelle and brother-in-law Eugene. He is survived by his wife Carol and son Michael.
Services and interment were private for his family. Arrangements entrusted to THE CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME FUNERAL HOMES INC. SPRINGDALE/CHESWICK.
