Melissa M. (Scott) Boak

Missy Boak, age 42 of Cheswick, PA went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2026 following a short illness.  She was surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 11, 1983 to Mary Ann Scott and John Scott in North Hills, Pennsylvania.

She was a graduate of Springdale High School and attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania.  She enjoyed working as an account executive for Quality Granite where she was employed for 20 years.  She had a light that shined bright that welcomed everyone that she encountered.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing games and traveling.  Her nieces and nephews were cherished by her. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years, Donald Boak, her greatest blessing, her son Connor Boak, her loving parents, Mary Ann Scott, John Scott and Dee Scott,  her brothers John (Amanda) Scott, Nick (Taylor) Scott , stepsisters Kristina (Jim) Haus, Sandy (Joey) George, her stepbrother John Pavshak, grandparents John and Dorothy Scott, treasured nieces and nephews Austin, Carter, Brayden, Dawson, Caleb, Emma, Lucas, Eden, Aurora Scott and Tom Boak (Lexy) and Josh(Kaylee) Boak as well as her loving in-laws, Mary Ellen and Don Boak, Sr  as well as brother-in law Tom (Michelle) Boak and Sam (Rebecca) Boak.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Mary and James Kozier, her maternal uncle James Kozier and her paternal uncle Joe Scott.

She had so much love for her family and friends that she truly will be missed by all of  them. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday September 30, 2026, from 4-8pm. in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am. Thursday October 1st in Our Lady of Victory/Guardian Angel Parish with burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.
