Margie H. (Herschl) Landman

Margie H. (Herschl) Landman 87, of Cheswick, passed away Tuesday June 25, 2024.  She was born November 14, 1936, to her late parents, Anthony and Margaret Gornall Hershcl and has been a longtime member of the community.  Mrs. Landman graduated from Springdale High School in 1954.  She was in The National Honor Society, always receiving the best grades. She enjoyed roller skating, polka dancing and belonged to the Pittsburgh Banjo Club.  Margie attended The New Kensington School of nursing where she achieved a Registered Nursing Diploma and later a Bachelor of Science degree from La Roche College.  Margie worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital, and Staff nurse at Shadyside Hospital.  Surviving her are:                                                      Loving husband of 65 years John F. Friends will be received on Monday July 1, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh.
