Margaret Louise (Brady) Pahlman, 82, of Cheswick, passed away peacefully at home, with her loving husband of nearly 62 years by her side, Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021. Margaret was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Harmarville. "Marge" loved her family more than anything; she was never more happy than when everyone was together at the same time, especially at birthdays and holidays. For many years, she spent countless hours crocheting beautiful afghans and quilts, which she gifted to family and friends. Many in the community remember her as a familiar and happy face in the places where she worked through the years: Thrift Drug of Cheswick, McDonald’s in Harmar and Kings Family Restaurant in Fox Chapel. Marge loved the simple things of life. It was no secret to those who knew her best that she loved sweets, especially well-made chocolate. Later in life, Marge spent quality time reading her Bible and watching Christian programs, which gave her a sense of peace. Survivors include her devoted husband, Elmer; children, Steve (Carol) Pahlman, Charles (Denise) Pahlman, Keith Pahlman and Randy (Rebecca) Pahlman; and grandchildren, Abigail (Damon)Pierce, Elisabeth Pahlman, Seth Pahlman, Ryan Pahlman and adopted granddaughter, Lauren Mancuso. She was preceded in death by parents, Meredith and Louise Brady. Mrs. Pahlman's services will be private for her immediate family. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
