Ludwig D. Prasnikar

Ludwig D. Prasnikar, 74, of Cheswick, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 3, 1946, to his parents, the late Joseph and Isabelle Pizer Prasnikar, and has been a lifelong member of the community. Mr. Prasnikar worked for the former Allegheny Label, Glenshaw Glass and most recently, Cheswick Borough. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture, painting and casino trips with his loving wife. He especially loved his family vacations and spending time with them. Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Marcella Kotermanski Prasnikar; daughter, Monica (Chris) Artem, of Pittsburgh; son, Ludwig "Luddy" (Denise) Prasnikar, of Cheswick; sister, Elsie (Spanky) Marflak, of Arnold, brother, Paul Prasnikar, of Vandergrift, sister, Karen Prasnikar, of Arnold, brother, Joey Prasnikar, of Pittsburgh; and granddaughter, Ashley Prasnikar. Services and interment were private for his immediate family.
