Lucy A. (Bosman) Fogle

Lucy Fogle, 89 of Harwick passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 26th. She was a lifelong resident of Harwick, PA where she raised her family and cared for her grandchildren who were truly her pride and joy. She is best known by her family for her hard work ethic, her cooking, her love for The Lord, and her fiery spirit. She was a woman of faith and a true believer in the power prayer. She worked numerous jobs in her life to make ends meet, and finally retired from NEP productions in Harmarville at the age 82. No matter how many jobs she took on, she always had a hot dinner ready for her grandkids after school, and never missed a football game, soccer game, or track meet. Her kitchen table was the place the family would gather for food, laughs, a heartfelt conversation, and acted as our safe space for so many years. She was well loved by her neighbors in the “alley” who watched over her and cared for her. She loved to watch Pittsburgh sports, WWE, the game show network, and her favorite, Everybody Loves Raymond. She never missed a TNT hoagie after a Saturday Night Mass, or an opportunity to go to breakfast at Bob Evans.  She was truly the rock of her family and will be missed beyond measure. She was proceeded into death by her parents, Paul and Mary Bosman, her husband, Joseph (Sonny) Fogle, her siblings; Rosie, Joe, Katie, John, and Andy. Survivors include her children Michael (Kim) Fogle from Longwood, FL, Mary (Bob) Loveland of Cheswick, Lisa (Paul) Burkett of Springdale, her grandchildren, David Hummel, Brittany and Breanne Loveland, Matthew Fogle, great grandchild, Owen Vodopivec, and her Beloved cat, Spirit. 

Friends will be received Tuesday March 29, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday March 30^th at 10am in Our Lady of Victory Church/Guardian Angel Parish with interment to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Frankie Friends Cat Rescue 9^th St New Ken, 15068.
