Loreto Bologna 95, of Harwick, passed away at home February 25, 2025, with his family at his side. He was born December 24, 1929, to his parents, the late Nicholas and Mary Troese Bologna and has been a lifelong resident of our valley. After graduating from Oakmont High School in 1947, He joined the U.S. Army where he fought in the 58th Artillery Battalion during The Korean War. Mr. Bologna was a member of Our Lady of Victory/Guardian angel Parish where he was a Eucharistic Minister and usher for many years. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and enjoyed bowling and golfing as a younger man. Surviving him are:

Son Randy S. Bologna of Chicago
Sister Geneve Olean of Lower Burrell
Besides his parents, he was also preceded by three sisters, Minnie Ferma, Mary Swidwall and Helen Wolfe.
Mass of Christian burial and interment in Deer Creek Cemetery was held privately for his immediate family on Friday the 27th of February.
