Larry E. Fritz

Larry E. Fritz, 89, of Springdale passed away April 14, 2026. He was born September 30, 1936, in Mayport, PA to his parents, Harold (Peck) Fritz and Sarah Mowry. He worked for US Gypsum in Oakmont, PA as Plant Supervisor. Larry married the love of his life, Hazel (Monty) Harman on August 24th, 1957. They enjoyed 68 wonderful years together. He loved his in-laws, Vicke and Rod Case and Terry and Gloria Harman. He was a huge sports fan and especially loved the Springdale Dynamos, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pitt Panthers and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who loved him dearly and thought Uncle Larry was the best also survived him.

Besides his parents, Mr. Fritz was also preceded in death by his sisters Lois Sherry (Fred), Barbara Hetrick (Jack), Betty (Ruth) Kepple (Howard).

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 3-7pm.  Services will be held on Friday at 2pm at THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. with burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.
