Karen L. Wratcher

Karen L. Wratcher, 69, of Springdale died Monday August 10, 2026, in UPMC Mercy. She was born August 18, 1956, in Pittsburgh to the late Lewis and Margaret Matsko Wratcher and was a lifelong resident of Springdale. Karen worked for UPMC at the Help Desk for 25 years. She was a former member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale. Karen is survived by her sister Mary (Joseph) Arnold of Lower Burrell, two nephews, Ean and Lukas Arnold, two cousins Christina Wenskovitch, Edward Wenskovitch and her beloved cat Salem. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Szczypinski and her cousin Kathleen Wenskovitch. All services will be private. Arrangements under the care of the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. Springdale/ Cheswick.
