John Pavshak, 92, of Harmar, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021. He was born May 17, 1929, to his parents, the late Martin and Josephine Razderk Pavshak, and had been a longtime resident of the community. He worked for PPG Industries for 30 years, from where he eventually retired. Mr. Pavshak was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as spending time with his family. Surviving him are son, Patrick (Barb) Pavshak, of West Deer; daughter, Linda (Timothy) Galore, of Penn Hills; son, Dave (Ginny) Pavshak, of Creighton; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and Daughter-in-Law Dolores Scott. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Corrigan Pavshak; and a son, John Pavshak Jr. Per his request, visitation and services are private for his immediate family. Interment will be in Deer Creek Cemetery, Cheswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in his name. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
