John A. Hussar Jr. 69, formerly of Springdale, passed away January 7, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1955, to his parents, the late John and Margaret Onofer Hussar. John graduated from Springdale High School in 1973 and was a member of the band and the Mellowmen who traveled to Europe to perform. Because of his love for music, he attended Duquesne University and played numerous instruments including his guitars and banjo. John will be remembered with love by his friends and family for his lifelong passion for the arts and his immense musical and artistic talents. May his soul find eternal peace. Surviving him are:

Sister's Cynthia Fabian
Marian (Mimi) Olczak and Abigal (John) Tillison
As well as numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by Brother-in-Laws – Robert Fabian and Andy Olczak
Nephews Jason Pulliam and Jeremy John Fabian.
