   John A. Gaydos Jr. 84, of Springdale, passed away Wednesday February 25, 2026.  He was born to his parents, John Sr. and Veronica Marchek Gaydos and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  After graduation from Springdale High School, he enlisted in The U.S. Marines and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge.  He worked as a draftsman for many years until his retirement.  John belonged to the Krivan club in Springdale where he enjoyed talking with his many friends and cousins.  He loved to listen to Doo-Wop music and had a great collection of tunes, but he especially relished spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Mr. Gaydos was preceded in death by his wife Anastasia “Lani’ (Prosser) Gaydos.

Friends will be received on Wednesday March 4, 2026, from 12-4-pm. in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. where a service will commence at 4pm.
