John B. Boyer

John Botner Boyer, 76, of Springdale, passed away at home Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He was born Dec. 27, 1946, to his late parents, Carl, and Joan Elam Boyer. Mr. Boyer worked as a software engineer for many years, where he eventually retired. John enjoyed running 5k races, watching old movies, going to the beach and was a huge history buff. He especially loved spending time with his family and will be sadly missed. Surviving him are his loving wife, Mary Lynn (Lukac) Boyer; son, Christopher Boyer, of Texas, daughter, Melissa (Larry) Slane, of Florida, son, Martin (Amanda) Boyer, of Uniontown, son, Robert (April) Rak, of Greensburg, son, James (Megan) Rak, of Indiana, daughter, Traceylynn Rak, of Springdale, and daughter, Christine (Brendan) Tatar, of Fenelton; brother, Jeffery Boyer, of Ohio; and many loving grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate John's life from 4 p.m. until time of services at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in THE CHARLES B.
