Joan W. (Wilson) Marsh

Joan W. (Wilson) Marsh, age 94 of Cheswick, went to be with her beloved Dutch on May 3, 2025. Joan was born in Emlenton, PA to James W. Wilson and Helen Beal.  She enjoyed collecting stamps, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, watching the Pirates, and traveling. Joan enjoyed her time working at Hornes Department Store and Lockermans Market. Joan is survived by her daughter Judy (Bob) Bechtold of Springdale, daughter in law Laura Marsh of York Grandchildren Melissa (William) Goodman of Ford Cliff, Jeremy (Susan) Bechtold of Penn Hills, Dennis Marsh of Oakton, VA and Lisa Marsh of Harrisburg. Great grandchildren Adeline and Colton Bechtold of Penn Hills. Joan is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Dutch” Marsh, son James E Marsh, her parents, and her brother James Stephens. Donations can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in her name. 

Friends will be received Tuesday May 6, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St. where services will commence Wednesday at 11am with burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.  www.jarviefuneralhome.com
