Joan I. (Law) Delaney

Joan I. Delaney, 87, of Cabot, formerly of Harmar, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was born Oct. 28, 1935, to her parents, the late Leonard and Anna Bauer Law. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Faith United Methodist Church and former member of Harmarville United Methodist Church, where she was treasurer for more than 20 years, as well as a certified lay speaker. Joan also taught Sunday school for many years and was an Eastern Star member of the Springdale chapter. Mrs. Delaney enjoyed reading at her cottage in Tidioute and her love for animals as well. Surviving her are husband, Larry R. Delaney; son, Larry D. (Ruthann) Delaney, of Mosgrove; son, Timothy A. (Denise) Delaney, of Allegheny Township; and grandson, Benjamin and Cousin Edward Bauer. Per her wishes, services and interment will be private. Arrangements are by THE CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Cabot, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, 16023.
