Jacqueline Wise, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries after a courageous battle with cancer that spanned over 40 years.
Born on October 12, 1948, in Harwick, Springdale Township, she was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Frances Wasik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Wise, who passed away on October 13, 2004.
Jackie was employed as a Finance Clerk at Curtiss-Wright (formerly Westinghouse) for 45 years. She was admired for her dedication, work ethic, and warm spirit in the workplace.
Jackie cherished time spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Known for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and sharp sense of humor, Jackie had a gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.
She is survived by her brother, Wes Wasik of Houston, Texas; stepson, Matthew (Kim) Wise of Butler; stepdaughters, Nadine (Dan) Garmer and Joelle Wise, both of Tarentum; grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha, Delaney, and Cody; and her loving caretakers, Jessica Namey and Kim Aydelott.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in honor of Jackie’s long and courageous journey.
Friends will be received Tuesday October 14, 2025 in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME Inc. 1607 Pgh. St. from 10-12 noon, with services commencing at noon. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
