Jacob Zubek

Jacob Zubek 91, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday October 22, 2025.  He was born February 2, 1934, to his parents, the late Joseph and Antonina Krzysiak Zubek and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Mr. Zubek was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa church in New Kensington.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering and later worked for Westinghouse for many years where he eventually retired.  After retirement, he enjoyed golfing with his friends and especially spending time with his family the most.  Surviving him are:

Besides his parents, he was preceded by his sister Agnes, the twin sister of Rose.    

Services and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery  of Lower Burrell will be private.
