Irene T. Block

Irene T. Block 77, of Springdale, formerly of New Kensington, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 9, 2024.  She was born September 8, 1946 to her parents, the late Jack and Martha Rochna Block.  She worked for A. Folino Construction for many years where she eventually retired.  Mrs. Block was a former member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale and loved her pets and spending time with her family.  Surviving her are: Brother John block of Minn.

Sister Elizabeth (Betty) Bayne of New Kensington

As well as many loving nieces and nephews

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister Ruth Baxley and one brother Jacob Block.

Friends will be received Sunday April 21, 2024,  from 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME 801 Pgh St. and Mass of Christian burial to follow Monday the 22nd in Our Lady of Victory Church/Guardian Angel Parish and burial in St. Marys Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
