Ida T. (Patterson) Loveland

Ida Loveland, 93, of Springdale, passed away peacefully at her home late Monday morning, Aug. 7, 2023. She was born Feb. 24, 1930, to the late Robert and Anna Mae Patterson. She was a profound seamstress and could mend or make just about anything. She loved to bake, make crafts, play the lottery and occasionally some slot machines. She loved spending time in her yard among her flowers and took such pride in creating such a beautiful landscape for her family, friends and neighbors to enjoy. She was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues throughout her lifetime. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She loved to watch her grandchildren play sports and was always the first to be in the stands cheering them on. She possessed a strength like no other, and believed that if you wanted something done, and done right, you must do it yourself. She is loved beyond measure and will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She is preceded into death by her husband, Jim, of 63 years; her sons, Bill and Jimmy; sisters, Virginia and Bobbie; brothers, William and Harry; and other friends and family. She is survived by her sons, Bob and David Loveland; grandchildren, Brittany, Breanne, Savannah and D.J.; and great-grandson, Owen; sisters, Jane and Honey; brother, Jack; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023 (Today) in THE CHARLES B.
