Georgia Homer

Georgia Homer, 73, of Penn Hills died on September 16, 2021. Georgia was a graduate of Springdale High School and earned a degree from Carlow College on full scholarship. As an educator within Allegheny Valley School District, Georgia helped and influenced many young people. Her legacy will live on. She was an avid golfer, world traveler, active at her country clubs and enjoyed all finer things in life. Georgia was loyal and dedicated to her beloved cats. She was a character and enjoyed embellishing tales while storytelling. Her parents, George and Mary Homer, and her sister, Mary Beth Homer preceded her in death. A private Christian service, attended by close friends, was held at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC.
