Ethel E. (Findon) Caruso

Ethel E. "Sis" Caruso, 87, of New Kensington, formerly of Springdale, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Johnson Findon and had been a longtime resident of our valley. Mrs. Caruso graduated from Har-Brack High School and later worked as an interior designer until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed shopping, roller skating in her younger years as well as modeling and was a big Steelers fan. Most of all, she relished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving her is daughter Cynthia (John) Turiak, of West Leechburg; grandson, Daniel (Kristen) Turiak; three great-grandchildren, Braiden, Logan and Austin Turiak; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Caruso was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Caruso; and grandson, Thomas Dwayne Uzmack. She will have a private interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
