Ermalinda (Stanzione) Rouggie

Ermalinda "Millie" (Stanzione) Rouggie, 97, of Indianola, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 21, 2018. She was born July 17, 1921, to the late Alexander and Minnie (Errico) Stanzione, and had been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Millie graduated from Har-Brack High School and worked for PPG Creighton and Pennex Products where she eventually retired. Millie was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Timothy's Parish in Indianola. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, and boating and fishing with her late husband Bill ("Sundo"). Surviving her are her son, Michael A. (Jacque) Rouggie, of Indianola; along with numerous nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, Oliver "Bill/Sundo" Rouggie, whom she will be laid to rest beside; four brothers, Anthony, Ernest, Raymond and Joseph Stanzione; and four sisters, Clara Theuerl, Theresa Palyszeski, Margaret Bogan and Ann Tempest. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St. (Cheswick), where blessing services will commence 11 a.m. Tuesday, with entombment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
