Ellen L. (Mellon) Glomb, 67, of Sigel, formerly of Curtisville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 8, 1953, the daughter of the late Nick and Ellen Kay Mellon and has been a lifelong resident of the Valley. She graduated from West Deer High School in 1970 and enjoyed being in the outdoors at camp, trap shooting, hunting and especially spending time with her family. Ellen baked at Walmart for 15 years where she was affectionately known as the doughnut lady. She will be sadly missed by everyone and her family meant everything to her. Surviving her are her loving husband of 48 years, Frank C. Glomb Jr.; daughter, Kristie Glomb and fiance, Brian Burton, of Tennessee; brother, Nick (Valerie Robash) Mellon, of Murrysville; sister, Kathy (Joe) Paskorz, of West Deer; brother, Tommy Mellon, of Springdale; brother, Dave (Martha) Mellon, of Bradford; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Ellen was also preceded in death by her son, Frank Charles Glomb III. Friends will be received on Wednesday March 17, 2021, from 2 to 6 p.m. in THE CHARLES B.
