Elizabeth (King) Paterak

Elizabeth (Betsy) Paterak 70, of Springdale, passed away at home Friday May 2, 2025.  She was born April 9, 1955, to her parents, the late Howard and Ann Patterson King and has been a lifelong member of our community.  Mrs. Paterak co- owned and operated Tailgaters Sports bar in Harmar for many years with her husband Mike.   She enjoyed going to Pittsburgh Steeler games and tailgating with her friends, visiting the casino and especially being a loving grandmother and playing cards with her grandchildren.

Daughter Melissa (Russell) Thomas

Sister Katherine King

Brother Brad King

Three Grandchildren Michael, Makayla, and Reece Thomas

Great-grandchild Kieran Thomas

Besides her parents, Liz was also preceded in death by her grandson Ryan Thomas.

Friends will be received Wednesday May 7, 2025, from 4-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St.  where services will commence on Thursday at 11am. with a burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be directed to The American Cancer Society in her name.
