Edwina (Lengle) Akins, 77, of Dorseyville, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born Feb. 6, 1944, to the late Charles and Mary Stankovich Lengle. She was a school bus driver for 34 years. Mrs. Akins was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and for those who knew her well, knows she loved cleaning. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Nucci, with whom she made her home for the last 20 years; grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Evan and Hannah; brother, Charles (Donna) Lengle; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mervin "Ace" Akins; a daughter, Marianne Kelly-Schoone; and a sister, Patricia Young. Friends are invited for her visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021, in THE CHARLES B.
