Edward W Bayne Jr. 80, of Springdale, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, service, and love for his family and community.
He was a proud charter member of the Lower Valley Ambulance Service and devoted over 50 years to the Springdale Volunteer Fire Department, where he served many officer titles and was honored as a life member. His commitment to helping others was a defining part of who he was.
In addition to his public service, he was the proprietor of Ed Bayne Heating and Cooling for over 50 years, building a respected business known for hard work, reliability, and integrity.
He was married to his beloved wife, Helen Bayne, for 61 years, sharing a lifetime of memories together. He is survived by his three children: Edward W lll, Robert (Amy Blake) and Gary Bayne (estranged); and by his five grandchildren: Daniel, Steven, Greg, Rebecca, and Reagan.
He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his lifelong service to his community.
Friends will be received on Monday April 27, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday the 28th at 10am. in Our Lady of Victory/Guardian Angel Parish with burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ed’s name to Springdale Volunteer Fire Department.
