Dorothy A. (Fisher) Kalinosky

Dorothy Ann Kalinosky, 88, a resident of Springdale, passed away Saturday February 22, 2025, which was also her cherished daughter’s birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Emil Kalinosky and they were happily married for 65 years.

Dorothy was born on October 6, 1936, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Fisher and enjoyed her career as a Legal Secretary in Cheswick and Pittsburgh.  Survivors include her two children, Gary Kalinosky (Laura), of Monroeville, and Lori Kuba (John), of Cheswick; grandchildren, Derek Kalinosky, Allison Liotta (Shawn) and Amanda Kuba (Robert Murray); and great-grandchildren, Lily Liotta, and Kai & Kreed Kuba Murray.

She was also a loving sister to the late Dolores Grandizio (Edmond), the late Irene McCorkle (late Walt), the late Joe (Bert) Fisher (late Mary Lou), the late Bob Fisher (late Isabell), the late Bill Fisher (Nancy), John Fisher (late Doris), Ken Fisher (Donna), and Carol Jones (late Jim).  She also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy loved to golf with her husband, and they spent many vacations golfing at Sun Lakes in Arizona. Dorothy also held parenting and grandparenting to the highest standard with the kindest, generous, and purest of heart.  She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved supporting them at various sporting events, band concerts, even shopping trips!  During her free time, Dorothy could always be found with a good book in her hands; a passion she shared often with her son.
