Donna J. Beitel

Donna J. Beitel, 73, of Springdale, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. She was born April 17, 1950, to her parents, the late Dominic and Elizabeth Barbus Vallosio, and had been a lifelong Springdale resident. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1968 and attended Montefiore School of Nursing where she graduated and worked as an CRNA at Children's Hospital for 30 years and eventually retired. Donna was affectionately known as the "Card Lady" for always sending homemade cards to friends and family for all important occasions, and the love of crafting and ceramics she shared with everyone. Survivors include loving husband, Donald S. Beitel; daughter, Lauren (Travis) Aiken, of Lower Burrell; proud grandmother of Dylan and Sadie Aiken; sister, Susan Burns; sister, Debi Ruffner; and brother, David (Cathy) Vallosio. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jason Beitel. Friends will be received for her celebration of life from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, graveside.
