Donald P. Walker Sr.

Donald P. Walker Sr., 80, of Springdale, died peacefully Sunday, June 25, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. Don leaves behind his wife, Beverly A. (Langus) Walker, his son, Donald P. Walker Jr., of Springdale, (fiancee Bobbi Jo Bozick), his daughters, Tracy L. Feil (James), of Curtisville, and Ashley A. Wehring (Justin), of Elizabeth Township. Don has six grandchildren, Amber, Brittany and Jimmy "Bugga", Jessica, Kayden and Carter, and four great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Ethan, Weston and Sutton. He also leaves behind two sisters and a brother. Don was married to Beverly March 4, 1964. Their 60th anniversary was just around the corner. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a well-loved friend to many. He was an over the road truck driver for almost 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army as an armored crewman from December 1961-December 1963 at Fort Riley, Kan. He also served the U.S. Army Active Reserve from December 1963-December 1967. Don loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved to help others with their cars when they needed repairs. Don was truly a loving and generous man. He will be missed but not forgotten. May he rest in peace in the hands of our Father Jesus Christ. Amen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in THE CHARLES B.
