Donald Trebac

Donald Trebac, 69, of Harwick, passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023. He was born July 16, 1954, to his parents, the late Rudolph and Anne Provozonak Trebac, and had been a longtime resident of the community. Mr. Trebac worked for the City of Pittsburgh as a paramedic on rescue 1 for 44 years before retiring. He was a life member of Cheswick Fire Department, a member of Allegheny Valley Fire Department and a charter member of Allegheny County Hazmat Team.   Surviving him are his loving wife of 47 years, Sophie (Masci) Trebac; son, Donald M. (Patti Kreitzer) Trebac; cousins, Judy Pinchok, Daniel Trebac, Robert Mandic and Marilyn Juhasz; brothers-in-law, Tony Eileen Masci and Eugene (Coralee) Masci; as well as nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13.
