Dolores Jean Sultzer, 88, of Cheswick, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in UPMC St. Margaret. She was born Nov. 26, 1934, to her parents, the late George and Viola Neff Parkin, and had been a longtime resident of the Valley. Mrs. Sultzer enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially attending her family gatherings. Surviving her are sons, Milton (Kim) Sultzer Jr., of Indianola, and Bruce Sultzer, of Rural Ridge; daughter, Lorie (Fred) Hoffman, of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Sheryl Snow, of Ohio; and daughter-in-law, Georgette Sultzer and Son-in-Law Dave Kotts. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her late husband, Milton Sultzer Sr.; son, Larry Sultzer; daughter, Linda Kotts; sisters, Georgetta Beacom, Verna Raynovich and Sara Champion; and brothers, Harry, David "Butch," George "Pete," Ronald, William and Malcolm Parkin. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon (today) Friday, July 21, 2023, in THE CHARLES B.
